Many New Zealanders choose to leave a special gift to a charity that is close to their heart by making a bequest in their Will. The support and generosity of New Zealanders will help to give future generations the chance to have a family.
If you would like to make a bequest to The Nurture Foundation, please ask your legal advisor to help prepare the correct wording in your Will. This will ensure your wishes are carried out as you intended. You can bequest a specific sum, a percentage of your estate or the residue of your estate after you have made provision for your friends and family.
Here is an example of the wording you could use for your bequest:
I give and bequeath the sum of $__________________(or)______________% of my estate (or) residue of my estate free of all charges to The Nurture Foundation for Reproductive Research. The official receipt of the Secretary/Treasurer or other authorised officer of the Trustee is an absolute discharge to my executors.
Please be aware that your bequest needs to be signed by you and written into your Will.
Please let us know if you make a bequest so we can personally thank you.
